Hello, GFW PRSA Members:
There are two excellent reports from your Assembly Delegates on this site. Please peruse those reports, which will bring you up to date with national PRSA activities.
I'm pleased to begin my second year as one of two Assembly Delegates
At Large who represent members who do not live in areas served by
chapters. This includes about 125 people who live in Mississippi,
North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Guam, Puerto Rico and military
locations.
If any of you are interested in getting involved in PRSA at the
national and regional level, please do so! PRSA is always in search
of volunteers who can serve on committees and task forces and can
provide valuable ideas to the national organization. You also may
want to join a section or become involved in the leadership of
sections. There are many opportunities to serve PRSA and the
profession, all of which will provide important networking and
professional development activities. Thanks to today's electronic
communications, most of this involvement is online or by conference
call at convenient times for participants.
GFW PRSA is an excellent chapter with great people and
professionals. Thank you for your membership and involvement.
